Recently, about 450,000 Facebook passwords were compromised. If a Facebook user ‘liked’ his or her bank and used the same password, think about how easy it would be for the bad guy to get into the bank account. What can you do to keep this from happening to you? Improve your password management skills! Use strong passwords (not your kid’s name). Even if not required and although the task sounds daunting, you should change your passwords for all systems periodically and most importantly stop using the same password for everything. Keeping track of a large number of passwords can seem impossible, so use an electronic vault application.
